Deer Rut Killarney’s National Park

We are once again venturing into the realm of The Red Deer during it’s rutting season and Killarney’s National Park is our destination. This is one of our wildlife highlights of the year and Ireland’s largest mammal is putting on a fine display at the moment.

Meeting at the Gates of the Knockreer Demesne, across from the Cathedral, at 07.45am and finishing there about 10:15am.
As always it is advisable to bring appropriate clothing, waterproof jacket, wellies, rain gear, binoculars and cameras. Wrap up warm it may be cold.
