Together for Biodiversity Awards Finalist at awards ceremony at the National Biodiversity Conference

The Together for Biodiversity Awards were part of the National Biodiversity Conference, which took place at Dublin Castle on 20th and 21st February 2019. The award winners were announced at the National Biodiversity Conference

The National Biodiversity Conference was organised by the National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Irish Forum on Natural Capital. These awards were kindly sponsored by Dublin Port Company

The awards included the following categories

Working Together for Biodiversity Award

o (Businesses taking action to save biodiversity)

People Together for Biodiversity Award

o Small community group project, run on less than €3,000 budget

o Large community group project, run on more than €3,000 budget e

Local Biodiversity Champion Award

o (Project run by an Individual – leading change for biodiversity at a local level)

Learning Together for Biodiversity Award

o (Project run by a School – leading on biodiversity through education)

Farming Together for Biodiversity Award

o (Farmers working within conservation partnership projects)
