What we do: Practical Conservation

Acorn

The IWT, through its sister organisation Groundwork (http://www.groundwork.ie/) have been working for nearly 20 years on the removal of the invasive Rhododendron from Killarney National Park. We have also been involved in tree planning and litter picks in important conservation areas such as Bull Island, Dublin. The IWT will be expanding its programme of practical conservation works in 2011.
