For the Irish Wildlife Trust, National Biodiversity Week is one of the most important and enjoyable weeks of the year. It is an opportunity for people across the country to get out and experience the biodiversity we still have in Ireland. There is a huge amount to discover and a huge amount to protect. We hope everyone will take the opportunity to join one of the many event being run this week and have fun discovering our national biodiversity.
Check out our event page for a listing of the free biodiversity event we are running over the coming week. From Saturday 18th May will be running woodland walks, marine protection talks and evening bat talks. Follow the link below for event details.
